Industrial Controls 115
Advanced level course that is designed for master level electricians. The course will teach electricians to trouble-shoot complex relay control circuits. Each student will wire a pumping station control panel and test it. They will also trouble-shoot and find bugs that instructors will install into their panels. The students will be timed as they trouble-shoot and must find and correct the problem in less than 20 minutes.
Prerequisite: Students should have a sound understanding relay control circuits and motor starters with at least 3 years of experience trouble-shooting relay controls. Course #101 is recommended if student has less than 3 years experience.
Course Length: 30 hours. This training is supported by funding through the Department of Labor and Industry. All participants will be required to confidentially provide their social security number. All cancellations must be received at least 5 business working days prior to class start date. Substitutions will be accepted at anytime. No shows and cancellations less than 5 business days prior to class start will be charged the advertised price for the class.
