MWSC Machine Maintenance

Course Description:

This course provides a high-level introduction to machinery related electrical fundamentals, mechanical systems and the proper maintenance techniques to be employed to assure the safe and reliable operation of equipment. 

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course the student will understand the basics of machine maintenance.  Specific topics include personal safety, equipment damage avoidance, proper application, and selection of lubricants, equipment startup and shut down, installation and leveling, vibration dampening and troubleshooting principles (including data collection and analysis)

This class will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 - 9 pm
