MWSC CNC III

Course Description:

This course is designed to continue to build on CNC I and II with hands on training from programming to running both milling and turning centers.

Course Objectives: 

CNC III will give students an extremely proficient ability to program and machine, both mill and turn centers

Course Outline:

  • Creation of two, two and one half, and three axis CAM programs for a milling CNC center and a turning CNC center
  • Loading and verification of a milling CNC program on a stimulator
  • Running of the program on the milling center
  • Loading and verification of a turning CNC program on a stimulator
  • Running of the program on the turning center

Prerequisite: It is recommended to take CNC I and CNC II.

60 Hours
This class will run on Tuesday & Thursdays, 6 - 9 pm
