Working in Harmony in a Multigenerational Workplace

Working effectively with people of different generations can sometimes be perplexing and even frustrating. This workshop is designed to give participants the opportunity to explore the “pre-programming” and resultant values and behaviors of the four predominant generations currently in the workplace, and how we can best achieve harmony in working together.

This half day course covers the following topics:
This interactive workshop will involve both individual and group discussion with emphasis on the following key points: • Characteristics of the four generations in today’s workplace – names, birth years, numbers, outlook, etc. • Factors that shared the world and ultimately those born within the time span of the various generations • “Issues” that tend to arise when attempting to work together – why does this happen? • Strategies for working through these issues to create better harmony
