Turn Programming
For a limited time, you and your employees can take advantage of special training opportunities through a Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development grant aimed at making the region into a hub for advanced computerized machining.

Course Description:This is designed to help someone make the transition from operator to setup person. The content is designed to emphasize the machine control and its axes while giving hands-on experience in setting up an actual Swiss-turning machine. The session will culminate with the completion of a machined part, meeting all specifications.

Level 1 and 2 are not prerequisites for Programming course

Course Content:

  • Techniques specific to Swiss turning
  • Basic program structure
  • Open Q&A time with a Tsugami Programming Engineer
  • How to incorporate macro statements within your part program
  • Fundamentals of 2 path programming
  • Program and process optimization to improve cycle times
