- A state certified Apprenticeship Sponsor
The Manufacturers’ Association is also a Pennsylvania state-approved program for apprenticeships. This means that employers do not have to sponsor the individual or seek approval from the state to employ an apprentice. Trainings denoted below that are also a part of the Apprentice Program can be counted towards hours should a non-apprentice ever decide to sign up for a registered Apprenticeship. After graduating from the program, Apprentices receive credits towards a college degree at Thaddeus Stevens College.
