Nominations Sought for Association’s Manufacturers Awards; Winners to be Recognized October 13 at 114th Annual Event
The Manufacturers’ Association, the regional trade association serving manufacturing, production and logistics in southcentral Pennsylvania and Maryland, is now accepting submissions for nominations for their 2020 Manufacturers’ Awards, to be presented at their 114th Annual Event Tuesday, October 13 at Waldner Performing Arts Center on the campus of York College of Pennsylvania.
The Association is currently seeking member companies to be recognized and feted as a leading business – honored in the categories of Manufacturer of the Year, Community Investor and Manufacturing Innovator of the Year.
Outstanding manufacturing and logistics companies can be recognized for enhancements in areas such as new technology, production processes, automation or the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT). They may also be honored for making important contributions in manpower or financial support, in supporting improvements to schools or local communities and making the southcentral Pennsylvania region a better place to live and work.
Winners from each category will be selected and announced on October 13, just after the evening’s program begins at 6:00 PM. Winners will be honored in front of a gathering of several hundred business and community leaders from throughout the region at the event which features business networking, fine cuisine, the Awards segment, and a keynote by guest Navy SEAL TEAM SIX Leader Rob O’Neill.

Nomination Forms can be submitted by anyone from the business community and should be received prior to close-of-business Tuesday, September 22 for review by the Association’s selection committee. Any company wishing to be recognized and honored at the event must be in good standing as an Association member at the time of submission.
(Current nominations are for those companies or organizations which excelled in their field as Manufacturer of the Year, Community Investor or Manufacturing Innovator, for accomplishments made during the 2019 calendar year).
