The Employers Education Foundation offers programs and activities in the community that supports the education and training of our youth in manufacturing careers. Manufacturing is the largest employer in York county and for every new job in manufacturing 3 additional jobs in other industries are created – manufacturing is critical to our economic success. The Foundation was created by The Manufacturers’ Association to work with business, educators, students and parents to facilitate the development of a world class workforce. Programs supported by the Foundation include the high school a Pre-Apprenticeship Program, Your Employ-ability Skills (YES) high school Certificate Program, a career education website: iExplore Manufacturing Careers, and student career exploration events like national MFG Day.
