PLC Maint/Troubleshooting- Apprentice

The course is designed to introduce students to troubleshooting and PLC maintenance. Some topics covered will be Input/ Output: Devices, sensor types, solenoids etc., Numbering Systems, I/O Processing, how a PLC operates, Ladder Programming and how to read and understand a plc program.
This course will give the student a good beginning knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining PLC’s
Course Outline:
- Troubleshoot input devices
- Troubleshoot an output device
- Troubleshoot a plc input
- Troubleshoot a plc output
- Troubleshoot a plc program input
- Troubleshoot a plc program output
- Some Ladder Logic programming
- Omron and Siemens PLCs.
39 Hours. This class is usually taught in the evenings with the Apprenticeship Program, however non-apprentices can attend.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received at least 10 business working days prior to class start date. Substitutions will be accepted at any time. No shows and cancellations less than 10 business days prior to class start will be charged the advertised price for the class.
