Course Description:

This course will familiarize students with various industrial sensor technologies and detection techniques.

Course Objectives:

Differentiate sensor types and underlying technology. Also, identify the best sensor for a particular application then program the sensors to reliably and accurately detect the target object.

Photoelectric sensors
Thermocouples and RTD’s
Vision sensors
Fiberoptic sensors
Temperature controllers
Encoders
Counters, Timers, and Tachometers

Non Member: $1050 +book cost

Prerequisite- Electricity 1 or a working knowledge of electricity or approval from our training team
