CNC 2 ( 11/18/25 -2/10/26)

Course Description:
This course is designed to develop a proficient knowledge of CNC CAD/CAM programming and machining.
Course Objectives:
The student will learn basic programming concepts and techniques using the latest in computer aided drafting and computer aided machining technologies along with state of the art indexable tooling
Course Outline:
- Fundamentals of computer aided drafting and computer aided machining technologies
- Creation and manipulation of drawing files
- Machine tool selection
- Machining strategies and operations
- Program management
- Cutting tool technology
- Creation of two, two and one half, and three axis CAM programs in EIA word address formats.
Book requirements:
Students will use the same book used from CNC I. Please be sure to check with us on the editions
