Course Description:
Using our machining lab, this course is designed to continue to build on CNC I and II with the addition of hands-on training in setting up and operating our CNC Machining Centers and Turning centers.
Course Objectives:Ā
CNC III will give students a proficient level of programming and machining experience of various machine parts in milling and turning
Course Outline:
- Creation of two, and three axis programs for CNC machining centers and turning centers
- Learn Part Setups and verification of various CNC programs on machining Centers and Turning centers
- Apply Speeds and Feed calculations
- Run parts and inspect
Book requirements: Students are to use the same book used in CNC I & II
