Course Description:

Using our machining lab, this course is designed to continue to build on CNC I and II with the addition of hands-on training in setting up and operating our CNC Machining Centers and Turning centers.

Course Objectives:

CNC III will give students a proficient level of programming and machining experience of various machine parts in milling and turning

Course Outline:

Creation of two, and three axis programs for CNC machining centers and turning centers
Learn Part Setups and verification of various CNC programs on machining Centers and Turning centers
Apply Speeds and Feed calculations
Run parts and inspect

Book requirements: Students are to use the same book used in CNC I & II
