Electrical Theory ( 3/31-4/3/25)

The primary objective of this course is to equip students with a solid understanding of electrical and electronic principles and their applications in various settings. Students will learn about different types of circuits, transformers, electric motors, and digital electronic circuits. The course aims to enhance students’ skills in taking standard measurements, understanding meter abbreviations and displays, and reading and interpreting schematics and prints.

• Application of Ohm’s Law and the Power Formula
• Importance of Safety in Electrical Practices
• Application of Math Principles in Electrical Practices
• Understanding Numbering Systems and Codes
• Learning Meter Abbreviations and Displays
• Techniques for Taking Standard Measurements
• Understanding Symbols and Print Reading
• Study of Circuit Conductors, Connections, and Protection

Fee must accompany non-member registration.  Cancellation policies apply.  Cancellations with less than 10 days notice will be charged.  No shows will be charged.
