Electrical Troubleshooting (10/20-10/22/25)

Course Description:

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of all aspects of troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems. It is designed for use in the electrical industry, and related fields. The course includes new and expanded coverage of NFPA 70E® requirements, and motor nameplate interpretation.

Course Objectives:

The primary objective of this course is to equip students with practical knowledge and skills for troubleshooting various electrical and electronic systems. Students will learn step-by-step troubleshooting procedures and engage in hands-on activities that reinforce the concepts presented. The course also aims to familiarize students with the latest industry standards and requirements.

Course Outline:

  •  Troubleshooting and Basic Electrical Theory
  • Understanding Symbols, Circuits, and Meter Terminology
  • Working with Meters and Special Meters
  • Troubleshooting Relays, Starters, and Motors
  • Understanding Power Distribution and Power Quality
  • Working with Electric Motor Drives, Lighting Circuits, and Power Distribution Systems
