Employee Retention Tax Credit Webinar

April 23, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join our webinar panel discussion on the federal Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERC) and how businesses and non-profit organizations can take advantage of the program. The panel will feature an overview of the Employee Retention Credit by Eric Suazo of RKL, with representatives of The Manufacturers’ Association, MANTEC, and YCEA on hand to field questions from businesses.

Many Pennsylvania businesses and nonprofit organizations have an opportunity to take advantage of immediate tax savings with the Employee Retention Credit (ERC). The ERC is part of the COVID-19 Relief Bill signed into law in late December 2020 and allows taxpayers to apply for a credit against expected payroll taxes for the first and second quarter of the year.

The ERC was part of the CARES Act, but was limited in scope and Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) recipients could not participate. The COVID-19 relief legislation extended the ERC for 2021 and expanded eligibility, increased savings, and added a retroactive provision for PPP loan recipients.
