Course Description:

This course will familiarize students with various industrial sensor technologies and detection techniques.

Course Objectives:

Differentiate sensor types and underlying technology. Also, identify the best sensor for a particular application then program the sensors to reliably and accurately detect the target object.

Photoelectric sensors
Thermocouples and RTD’s
Vision sensors
Fiberoptic sensors
Temperature controllers
Encoders
Counters, Timers, and Tachometers

*Prerequisite- Electricity 1 or a working knowledge of electricity or approval from our training team
