This class is designed to advance the student’s skills in the Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) process. Emphasis will be placed on the student’s ability to prepare material and perform welding of flat, horizontal and vertical fillet welds and flat groove welds in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

A certification test will also be administered within this course. Passing the certification tests qualifies the student to AWS D17.1 code for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
