This 24-hour course is designed to develop an introductory knowledge of basic Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) usage. The student will learn basic Measuring Strategies concepts and techniques for measuring the accuracy of machine parts.

Upon completion of this course the student should be able to;
a. Understand CMM Machines and their features and components.
b. Identify the use of various types of CMM machines and tooling.
c. Plan measuring strategies and operations from part drawings.
d. Create measuring procedures for 2D and 3D solid drawings
