Intro to Manufacturing (WorkPath)
The Manufacturing Pathway Training program offers employers a fast, effective way to upskill incumbent workers with the foundational technical and professional skills essential to modern manufacturing. This structured, two-week program reinforces core competencies that improve productivity, reduce errors, and support long-term employee growth ā all at no cost for PA Manufacturers thanks to a state grant opportunity provided by The Manufacturersā Association.
Employees receive hands-on instruction in blueprint reading, strengthening their ability to interpret orthographic projections, symbols, dimensions, and views commonly used on the shop floor. Shop math training refreshes and builds confidence in fractions, decimals, percentages, measurement systems, and basic algebra ā critical skills for quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Participants also gain practical experience with measurement tools and equipment, improving their understanding of hand tools, measurement techniques, and how equipment functions in a manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing Pathway Training is ideal for companies looking to:
- Refresh and standardize foundational skills across their workforce
- Support employee development and internal advancement
- Improve shop-floor accuracy, safety, and confidence
- Invest in training without disrupting long-term operations
