This course offers a review and understanding of Common Fractions, Decimal Fractions, Percentages, Linear Measurement (English / metric), and the Fundamentals of Algebra. Also included is the study and manipulation of common shop formulas including Speeds & Feeds, Cutting Time, and Gear Ratios & Dimensions.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, the student will understand algebraic functions and be prepared for next level of math courses, Geometry and Trigonometry.
