Mechanical Systems 1 (4/19-5/26/21)

In this course, students will be able to install and remove bearings, pulleys, chains, sprockets, gears, and couplings.

Course Outline: Students will learn:
Proper alignment procedures on-chain and belt drives
The 4 step coupling alignment procedure and will be able to perform it on shafts and couplings using a dial indicator.
Understand Hydromatic action
Boundary lubrication
Identify issues and perform maintenance
