Communication is extremely important in a manufacturing environment.
It’s not simply a case of saving time, or rushing to get a production order completed but, in many instances, communication when working in a production environment is all about SAFETY – and could mean the difference between life and death.
This comprehensive 18-hour course is geared towards apprentices and mentors, but is open to all employee types to attend.
Course Objectives:
This course is designed to give students an understanding of basic industrial communication skills and the importance of going beyond everyday verbal communication.
The student will learn how to effectively communicate to stop communication perception errors. Students will also learn the six barriers to interpersonal communication, verbal boundaries, and better understand perceptual differences.
