COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to introduce Apprentice students to troubleshooting and PLC maintenance. Some topics covered will be Input/ Output: Devices, sensor types, solenoids etc., Numbering Systems, I/O Processing, how a PLC operates, Ladder Programming and how to read and understand a plc program.
This course will give the student a good beginning knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining PLC’s Course Outline: Troubleshoot input devices Troubleshoot an output device Troubleshoot a plc input Troubleshoot a plc output Troubleshoot a plc program input Troubleshoot a plc program output Some Ladder Logic programming
