Course Description:
This course presents a review and understanding of Fundamentals of Plane Geometry, Geometric Figures, and Trigonometry.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the student will have an analytical approach to problem solving in understanding the fundamentals of Right-Angle Trigonometry, and the Principles of Plane Geometry.
Course Outline:
A. Plane Geometry – Geometric Figures-
Axioms and propositions
Angels and lines
Intersecting lines and angles
Relating lines and angles to polygons and circles
Pythagorean Theorem – Projection of sides
Circles
B. Trigonometry-
Functions of angles
Values of functions
Right angle solutions
Prerequisite: It is recommended to take Shop Math I.
