Course Description:

This course is designed to give apprentices a basic understanding and introduction to MIG, TIG and Stick Welding. Classroom instruction will include process descriptions/applications as they apply to sheet metal fabrication and equipment set-up.

Students will gain a better understanding of welding knowledge and enjoy practical instruction for sheet metal welding that includes Gas Metal Arc Welding and Plasma Cutting. Welding and Brazing processes will be demonstrated but not instructed.
