The Manufacturers’ Association Works to Promote Your Business and Advocate for Manufacturing and Logistics
We meet with our elected representatives on a regular basis, maintaining an effective personal dialogue with those who can support and promote legislation and actions deemed favorable to businesses in the manufacturing and logistics marketplace. We regularly utilize our regular communications and social media to convey those positions and meeting outcomes with our membership.
We also serve to provide information and data to news organizations looking for information regarding manufacturing jobs and job training, as well providing viewpoints on some of the major local and national issues affecting manufacturing.
We Foster Dialogue with Regional WIBs, Trade, Economic Development and State Government Partners
Our mission also focuses on creating and fostering positive relationships with our many business and economic partners in our region – such as the SouthCentral Workforce Investment Board, other ‘WIB’ partners, The World Trade Center of Central PA, and the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, as well as our regional Economic Development commission authorities.
Our work includes creating new programs and affiliations in conjunction with training consortiums as well as other state and federal training entities.
The Manufacturers’ Association maintains regular involvement with many of the leading local business chambers in our region. These relationships allow us to network and help promote the benefits and activities of the association to small business owners on a more personal level.
Among several others, Chambers serving the Lebanon, Harrisburg Regional, Lancaster, Waynesboro, Mercersburg, York, Carlisle, Hanover, Gettysburg and Mechanicsburg areas are in contact with us on a regular basis – whether looking to partner on co-marketing efforts with the association, or to have us network at an upcoming function. Our local Chambers serve as our partners in communicating our news, training programs and events to those at the local level.
