This 3 day course is designed to introduce students to the basic programming of PLCs in ladder logic syntax. This course will be taught on Allen Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix series processors.

This course is designed for people who have already taken the Introduction to PLC Diagnostics & Troubleshooting course or have comparable experience

o Data structures
o RSLogix5000/Studio5000 program structure
o Program flow
o Tags and aliasing
o Pre-defined instructions
o Creating ladder logic
o Downloading programs
