In this half day course students will learn to utilize the 7 Leadership “Tools” to create a Peak Performance Environment with the situational leadership model.

The well-known Blanchard/Hersey Situational Leadership model, helps managers to match an associate’s “performance level” of a specific task with the appropriate leadership style. In so doing, it allows the leader and the associate to form a relationship around the work improvement opportunity.

• Identify an individual’s current development level and select an appropriate leadership style
• Apply Situational Leadership in daily interactions through diagnosis, communication, application of leadership style and managing development and regression
• Practice and use a variety of leadership styles
• Learn a coaching process for helping associates become self-motivated and self-directed
• Lead team members more effectively by reaching agreements with them about their development level and coaching approach needed to help them achieve goals
