Course Description:

Using new machines, this course is designed to continue to build on CNC I and II with hands on training from programming to running both milling and turning centers.

Course Objectives:

CNC III will give students an extremely proficient ability to program and machine, both mill and turn centers

Course Outline:

Creation of two, two and one half, and three axis CAM programs for a milling CNC center and a turning CNC center
Loading and verification of a milling CNC program on a simulator
Running of the program on the milling center
Loading and verification of a turning CNC program on a simulator
Running of the program on the turning center

Book requirements: Students are to use the same book used in CNC I & II
