This twenty-one-hour, extremely hands on course builds on Industrial Electricity I and provides advanced skills of electricity.
The course topics include AC Principles, Inductance, Capacitance, AC Power, Transformers, and more.
The emphasis is directed towards understanding the technical aspects of electricity and its application in manufacturing.
Day 1: Refresher of Ind 1 plus transformers, capacitors and PLC circuit explanations and comparisons to Relay logic
Day 2: Understanding and evaluating 1P and 3P Motors and wiring methods
Day 3: Arc Flash safety certification and NEC code awareness and sample codes
Tools required: Screwdriver, plyers and wire strippers.
