Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (4/1-5/1/25)

This course is a study of the geometric controls set forth in the ASME Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of the course the student will demonstrate a beginner’s level ability to interpret a symbolic language used on engineering drawings to communicate product definition information.

  • Datums & Part Immobilization
  • Position & Basic Dimensioning 
  • Size & Form Concepts
  • Orientation Controls
  • Profile Tolerancing
  • Runout Circulation & Total

Pre Requisite: Students must have taken Blueprint Reading & Math 1 or have the skillset before taking this class.

 
Dates: April 1- May 1, 2025
Sessions: 10 sessions (30 Hours)
Times: 6 -9 pm,  T & TH
Location: MA Training Center, 3405 Board Road, York, PA 17406
Cost (member): $500 +books
Cost (non-member): $645 +books
